Wagering requirements: the fine print that matters
A wagering (playthrough) requirement states how many times bonus credit must be staked before anything attached converts to withdrawable balance. A “₹5,000 bonus” with 20x wagering means ₹1,00,000 in play-through first. Add game-weighting rules and expiry windows, and most headline bonuses are worth a small fraction of their advertised figure. Always read terms before valuing any offer — on any platform, in any country.
Red flags of bonus scams
- Codes on random sites and forwards. Bonus codes spread via WhatsApp/Telegram forwards, comment spam and lookalike sites are a top lure toward fake apps and phishing pages.
- “Guaranteed winnings” language. Bonuses never change the math of a game. Promises of sure profit signal fraud.
- Upfront “unlocking fees.” No legitimate platform asks you to pay to release a bonus. That is an advance-fee scam.

- Countdown pressure. Fake urgency (“expires in 10 minutes!”) exists to stop you verifying.
